Mackendra participated in her very first "Showdeo". All the participants had different tasks they had to do while riding their horse. They were awarded points according to fastest time and whether they completed the task. In the 4 events, Mackendra placed in two of them. She achieved 8th place in the riding while her arms were taped down around her waist, and she achieved 4th place in the above event...the riding while holding a Whopper candy on a spoon event.
Way to go kiddo! Not bad for 3 lessons!

That's awesome! I have always been afraid of horses... All of my neighbors have them, but they're just too big to not be afraid of. I have been thinking of you alot here lately. School is going great. My nephews are great, and I have another niece or nephew on the way (Anna is due in July). I'm currently recovering from a car accident that happened week ago... Slid on ice, hit a jeep in the oncoming lane, spun around, then hit the ditch. Air bags deployed, but I managed to walk away from it with just a few nasty bruises and mild whiplash. The people in the jeep were a little banged up, but thankfully it was not life-threatening. Send me a line sometime! I have a bad habit of not checking blogger for months at a time.
