Mackendra went to her first practice at Athelite. We signed her up for the co-ed team, but it turns out that she is the only girl there! No matter. It also turns out that she was the most skilled player there. Her coach was amazed at her dribbling and shooting skills and he secretly told her that she was the "most athletic player [there]". Pau pau, Grandpa and Mom were so impressed and proud of her. She worked so hard!!! She plays in her first game ever tonight. And although there are some butterflies in the stomach...both her and me...she is going to be awesome!!
Aislinn's Brookswood team is in the Centennial Top Ten Tournament this weekend. They are playing 4 games and have already defeated 3 teams and are off to the final tonight against MEI of Abbotsford. Aislinn has been fantastic this weekend. She is playing some of the best ball I've seen from her yet! So exciting, What a great weekend to shine...in front of her grandparents.
So...I asked Pau pau if she got her basketball fix...she said no. Ha ha ha.
Wish they could stay a bit longer. It was so nice to have them here.
